Coaching and Counselling in North London

We all face difficulties in our lives at some time. Counselling can be helpful when we are feeling distressed and isolated, and finding it hard to see beyond our immediate unhappiness and to draw on our inner resources.

Taking the initial step of contacting a counsellor can feel daunting and I understand the importance of providing a safe and non-judgmental space. I see counselling as a creative partnership where we can work collaboratively and explore ways to help you move forward.

Most of us have some sense of how we have been shaped by our early experiences. These experiences often create a pattern, a template for how we relate to ourselves and how we meet the world around us. We often lock away difficult experiences in a way that protects us from pain but can leave us feeling only partially ourselves.

I aim to provide you with a supportive, enquiring space to work with these inner patterns and attune to the many thoughts and feelings that might be hidden, even to yourself.

Together we can explore:

  • Low self-worth
  • Feelings of emptiness
  • Isolation
  • Sadness or depression
  • Inability to cope
  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Chronic stress
  • Relationship problems
  • Sexual problems
  • Childhood trauma
  • Bereavement
  • Workplace problems

‘I think I can be frank with you and let you know what a relief it was to meet you last June and hear the words you spoke. You immediately ‘got’ my situation in a way that very few people are able and I felt an affinity with you that allowed me to share the true grit of what was going on in my personal life… your input into my life at this particular stage, has been pivotal’.
